It started with a chance connection in February 2021 and a first date at Fado that neither of us wanted to end. Over Moscow Mules, we discovered we had more in common than we realized: both Atlanta natives, both with a love for travel, good food, and swapping stories about everywhere we'd been, and everywhere we still wanted to go.

One date turned into three, and three dates turned into something we didn't quite have words for yet. Just a lot of laughing, cooking together, traveling, and the quiet realization that we'd found something really special.

Over the years, we've built a life full of adventure and intention. We spent two months in Chicago during the summer of 2025, catching Cubs games, exploring neighborhoods, and learning the rhythm of a new city as if it were our own. Naples, Florence, and Sorrento gave us memories we'll carry forever. We've wandered through Seattle, celebrated in San Francisco and Napa Valley, and let New Orleans do what New Orleans does best. We've sung our hearts out at plenty of concerts — Smino and JID, Kendrick Lamar, Charlotte Day Wilson — and cheered each other on as we've both grown creatively and personally. Through all of it, we've been each other's favorite travel companion, sous chef, and hype man.

On November 15, 2025, Zach planned an elaborate, movie-themed scavenger hunt that wound through the streets of Atlanta and ended with a proposal in front of the Plaza Theatre, followed by an engagement celebration to share our joy. It felt like the perfect beginning to our extraordinary next chapter.

We are so grateful for every person who has loved and supported us along the way. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you and make our commitment official on Sunday, April 4, 2027, in Atlanta, GA.
